But even in heaven, this much diversity needs a common denominator.  That denominator is music. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Music everywhere, from huge stages and crowds of thousands,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 to smaller tents echoing the harsh chords and angry screams of youth daring to defy the dominant culture,

 

 

 

 

 

 

to a lone acoustic guitar being coaxed to song from a perch next to a dusty road. 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Music so joyous it brought this gray haired, middle aged man to his feet in dance, where I danced like I haven’t danced in 20 years. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Music so heart wrenchingly beautiful that to fight back the tears is a struggle.
